It does not surprise me that research shows that most social media users are self obsessed and self loving (just look at some profile pictures – Lol). I have only recently gained a ‘social footstep’ because I have been told and also read that people who do not have a facebook account/twitter account are now viewed with suspicion and that this is beginning to extend to employers.

Well, if some idiot wants to read a synopsis of my completely mundane activities, then I guess I must provide details. I am however, enraged that employers/recruitment consultants appear to believe that when a person does not have a social footprint it is an indication of something sinister. NO … I JUST VALUE MY PRIVACY. Get over it because although I may have to up my social footprint, I will not sacrifice my privacy.

Very good blog! Do you have any tips and hints forr aspiring writers?

I’m planning to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a
paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m totally confused
    .. Any recommendations? Thanks!
